Episode 14 - Womb Wisdom: 3 Energies to Support Your Shadow Season
In this week's episode, I'm giving you a preview of the Womb Work event happening TONIGHT, including:
🌙 Deep Self-Reflection: Shadow work involves diving into one's deeper self, exploring and confronting suppressed feelings and thoughts to achieve self-growth.
🌙 Support and Community: Engaging in shadow work can be challenging, but doing it within a community or ""sisterhood"" provides a safe space for individuals to share and support each other.
🌙 Professional Guidance: Proper guidance is important when engaging in shadow work to ensure safety and effectiveness. I use my background as a former licensed psychotherapist to help create a structured and informed approach to the practice.
Feel the call to your own shadow work but want to do it within a loving sisterhood? Join us
August 21st at 7PM Eastern | 4PM Pacific
for a live shadow season ceremony:
Show Notes:
Okay, sister. Welcome to episode 14 of Rooted Feminine. I'm excited to be coming to you today because we are having our Wisdom event. This is the womb work event where we focus on shadow work. I know it might feel odd talking about shadow work in the middle of August when it's still hot, but we're on the cusp of the shadow season - Autumn. A season where we dive deep into the depths of our womb and shadow. The first harvest takes place on August 1st with the holiday of Luna Saw. Then, the autumn equinox and saw wind are other harvest moments.
We are in this harvesting window, and harvest season goes hand in hand with shadow season. When you harvest, you evaluate your crops. You reflect on the planting and nurturing seasons, considering what worked and what didn't. Similarly, in our shadow work, we become aware and focus on areas that may not have been the best for us. A few episodes ago, we discussed that shadow work isn't about fixing your shadow but becoming aware of it, observing it neutrally, and taking ownership of it. Having a shadow side doesn't mean you're broken; it's about accepting and owning the deeper, darker sides of ourselves.
If you're in the United States, join us at 7:00 PM Eastern time, 4:00 PM Pacific. For listeners in Europe or elsewhere, it might be a bit late, but sometimes the early hours are the best time to discuss the shadow. I would love for you to join live. If not, there will be a replay and a way to access the wisdom event. Register at rootedfeminine.com/shadow to save your spot.
In the event, we'll delve into shadow work, how to experience it in a positive way, and discuss methods to do shadow work individually and in sisterhood. We'll also call upon three feminine archetypes: Seductress, Witch, and Dark Goddess. Remember, we're working with energy constructs, not specific goddesses. We'll discuss these archetypes, how they differ from goddesses, and why at Rooted Feminine we focus on archetypes.
Before you join the Womb Work event, you might have preconceived notions about shadow work. However, after tonight, you'll understand how you personally relate with your shadow. We'll also discuss energies like Seductress and Witch, breaking down misconceptions and highlighting their holistic purpose. For example, Seductress is not only linked to seduction in the bedroom; there's more to her energy. Similarly, we'll discuss the Witch energy not just in the context of witchcraft but its energetic essence. Finally, we'll explore the Dark Goddess archetype and how to harness its energy for shadow work.
Join us for practices, meditations, and guided journeys to work with these powerful energies.
Here's the cleaned-up version of the text you provided:
You can come back to these events again and again. Some people believe you only get access for 24 hours. That's not how it works for me. You have access to this replay indefinitely. So you can attend this event live with me, and you can keep the practices forever, continuing to use them and tap into shadow work in a way that serves you.
There are benefits to attending live. Sometimes, we prefer company for certain tasks, like going to the bathroom in groups. We might not always want to face uncomfortable things alone. In this case, you can join a safe sisterhood and engage in shadow work together. If you seek support, consider coming to the live event rather than waiting for the replay. Also, if you want to ask me direct questions about your unique situation, the live session is best. We'll have a Q&A section during the event, giving you opportunities to ask me questions and perhaps engage in individualized practices.
For those new to me, I was a licensed psychotherapist. I left the mental health field for various reasons, which I might delve into in a future episode. Although I'm not currently practicing counseling and therapy, I understand the importance of holding space, especially for shadow work. I'm trained in this area, and I follow strong ethical practices. This event will be trauma-informed, ensuring a space where you can feel safe and secure to explore shadow work. My aim is for attendees to be confident in this space, held with care, love, and expertise. Trust that our journey into shadow work and deep introspection will be both safe and beneficial.
This is a brief update. I wanted to inform you about the wisdom event tonight. While there are obvious benefits to attending live, if you can't make it, register to ensure you receive the replay. To sign up, visit Rootedfeminine.com/shadow. I'm eager to see everyone there. I'll soon prepare in the Temple Space, focusing on the right energetics and cleansing to support this event. I'm looking forward to seeing you tonight. And I'll be back next week, meeting you again in Temple Space.
