Show Notes:
Hey sister, welcome to episode 19 of the Rooted Feminine Podcast. Excuse my voice; I'm a little under the weather. I've been recording a lot lately as part of a special offering called the Sacred Living Audio Summit. It's a completely free resource where I've gathered over 25 of my magical online friends to discuss living sacredly every day.
My voice may sound rough and raspy, but I'm embracing it. In Rooted this month, we're exploring the seductress, so I'm calling this my seductress voice. If you want to register for the free Sacred Living Audio Summit, you can do so at rootedfeminine.com/sacred. It's one of my favorite things in my long business journey, and I'm excited about the magic it holds.
This event aims to bring you real-life, sage-wise advice from every wise woman participating. It's all audio, so you can binge it at any time. No gimmicks—once you register, it's yours to revisit as often as you like, at rootedfeminine.com/sacred.
I'm seeing themes emerge from the interviews I've conducted for the summit. They'll be available for you to binge on October 2nd. One fun element in each interview is the lightning round, where I ask every presenter the same three questions. Today, I'll be asking you those questions as a reflection, meditation, journal exercise.
Despite the diverse cultural backgrounds and practices of the women I've interviewed, their answers to these three questions are surprisingly similar. It shows how much we're united by source and spirit, transcending our differences in culture and practice.
One prevalent theme is intentionality and presence. I'll explore these further in an interview for the summit. In living sacredly, it's crucial to live fully embodied. Feminine embodiment and listening to your body's wisdom centers are key. We live fully embodied when we're present and intentional.
We discern what we allow and what we won't, embracing the magic of the feminine path. This discernment guides our intentional choices, curating our life experiences. Being present to every moment that flows from this intentionality is what sacred living means to these women.
To hear more about these themes and the lightning round questions, register for the summit.
It's entirely free. All the interviews will be available on October 2nd. You can binge them in a day if you'd like. Listen on the treadmill, in the car, during a neighborhood walk, or while hiking through the forest. You can replay them as many times as you want; they won't disappear.
When we live without intention and purpose, life can seem unpredictable. Whether it's going great or terribly, it can feel like things are just happening to you. You might not understand why or how it's happening. Even magical moments can appear as coincidences because we're not present or intentional.
I've been in this place recently where things are just happening, and I'm not fully engaged in co-creating. It happens to all of us, even modern mystics in 2023, with life's chaos. We may start treating our spiritual practices as mere checkboxes, lacking presence and intentionality.
We need to infuse presence and intentionality into our actions. Choose a specific deck because it resonates with you. When shuffling cards, be fully present and activate your energy. Avoid going through the motions. Intention and presence transform our lives into sacred experiences.
Sometimes, we feel like sacred living is for others who lead different lives. We might think it's meant for people in Bali or those who practice tantra all day, but it's for all of us, regardless of our circumstances.
I'm thinking of the people on Instagram I envy. They seem to have a connection to source and magic in their lives, but my life's tough, filled with stuff, so I think it's not meant for me. To make it mine, my whole life must transform. I must be the one who can move to Bali, meditate for three hours daily, and avoid carpool duty. This is how it feels when intention and presence disconnect. How do we infuse the sacred into our daily lives? What happens when we receive simple tips and advice from these 25+ women in a modern mystic way?
One significant realization from conducting these interviews is the difference between feeling like things are happening to you versus for you. When we face delays or unfavorable outcomes, we may think, "This is just happening to me." However, dropping into the sacred helps us see it's happening for us. In one interview, we discussed getting stuck in traffic or a red light, realizing how these moments can serve us. What might we have missed if we arrived earlier? Life happens for us.
Another lesson from these women is recognizing coincidences as synchronicities. Our skepticism diminishes when we're present and can acknowledge the magic meant for us. For instance, today I was running a bit late for an interview, and a woman emailed me 10 minutes before, apologizing for her delay. I responded that it was perfect; I needed the extra 10 minutes. It didn't happen to me; it happened for me—a beautiful synchronicity.
Spirituality shifts from something on our checklist to an integral part of our being when we are present and intentional. Every facet of our lives vibrates with vitality, even those seemingly mundane moments when we're 10 minutes late or stuck in traffic. What if we could fully embrace those moments? What if spirituality became an intrinsic part of who we are? Then, even the simplest acts in life feel like ceremonies. For instance, putting on your shoes in the morning can become an opportunity to thank the Earth for supporting your walk that day, no matter the path you're on.
Putting on your shoes can be a ceremony; even the simplest aspects of life can be magical. Everyday moments hold magic, and this insight resonates deeply throughout the Sacred Living Summit. It's reinforced repeatedly through interviews with diverse women, each offering their wisdom, regardless of nationality or ethnicity. The common threads are intentionality and presence.
Now, as I mentioned, I'm posing the same three questions to each presenter in a lightning round at the end of every interview. This will be a delightful experience for you, grounding you at the end of each episode and allowing you to anticipate and absorb wisdom from various perspectives. These questions serve to harmonize our energies, creating a collective circle of intent for the entire event.
I invite you to engage in a spiritual exercise by sharing these questions with you in advance. Sit with them, use them as journal prompts, meditate upon them, or incorporate them into your personal practice. Begin working with them now, and once you've registered for the summit and absorbed the presenters' wisdom, revisit your answers to observe your growth.
The three questions are as follows:
What does sacred living mean to you?
What does your intuition suggest is your next step for reclaiming your sacred?
What is your wish for the collective as more women begin to live sacredly?
Remember, the feminine path is communal; we are united in this journey. Reflect on these questions, and see what emerges for you. Then, listen to the summit's presenters and discover any sparks of growth or inspiration in your responses.
If you're ready for intuitive, grounded advice on reconnecting with the sacred every day, I encourage you to register for the Sacred Living Summit. We now have over 26 magical presenters, offering genuine and sage wisdom to help you reclaim your sacred connection and embody it in your daily life.
