Show Notes:

Hey sister, Welcome to Episode 22 of Rooted Feminine.

I'm glad that we're going to have this conversation today about fear because I think fear is something that comes up when we step onto our spiritual path, especially when we're talking about spiritual growth, of

Pigeonholes us in a way it puts us on one like trajectory and like you get married you have the babies you buy the house or whatever, right fill in the blank with whatever story or narrative resonates there for you but there is a story and there is a narrative that we're all supposed to follow. And so when we think about stepping out of that and we think about growing beyond that and evolving and rebirthing into our truest, most pure selves of course, that's scary when our whole lives we've been conditioned to be a certain way to acknowledge.

And even embrace that we're not going to be that way, that there's no way that fear doesn't come up there. Fear is a natural response to that. And so I think it's worth having an entire episode about how we can stop fearing our spiritual growth. I really resonate with this topic today. I shared last week that I'm in.

A shadowy season and going through a death part of the rebirth cycle right now. And there's absolutely fear going on there. There's fear of letting go of what I wanted or what I had envisioned or hoped for. There's also fear about if I let this go, then what's going to replace it. And this is where surrender comes in.

This is where trust comes in. And this is where sovereignty comes in knowing my power. Knowing my ability and capability to navigate situations, being willing to take up space, and also trusting in the universe, right? To quote Gabby Bernstein the universe has my back, it has all of our backs.

So if we're a little afraid of our spiritual growth, A, totally normal, and B, It's something that we can work through. And that's what I want to chat about today. If you're somebody who needs help working through this fear, if you need a priestess to guide you through this fear a little bit, come and join me for my free three day event initiation.

We're going to be meeting to walk through this together. And like I said, I'm a little afraid right now and that's okay. It's not about not being afraid or denying your fear. It's about being afraid and stepping up anyway and stepping into it anyway. And that's what initiation will help you do.

There are going to be a bunch of women. They're all doing the same thing as you. Raising their hand and saying, I'm afraid, but I'm doing it anyway. Rebirth can be scary, but I'm ready. I'm so ready for the next stage. I'm so ready to shed this, whatever. This thing, this person, this relationship, this identity, this choice that is keeping me in this old version of myself.

I'm so ready to let that die. And I'm so ready to bravely see what's going to be born in its place. So if that's calling to you, if that's speaking to you, you can sign up for free for initiation over rooted feminine. com slash initiation. So super easy for you. I think sometimes just because we've stepped onto a spiritual path, doesn't mean we're always ready for a spiritual life, right?

It's the doing and the being, right? A lot of us, myself included at times, spirituality is just something that we do. We're checking it off our to-do list. Did I meditate today? Did I build a crystal grid today? Did I pull a card today? Whatever that might be, but it's not necessarily always who we are.

And by this, we're not being, we're not being spiritual beings. We're doing spiritual things. And I'm not going to say that doing the stuff isn't helpful. Of course, getting into your body, of course, calling up your intuition, of course, listening is going to be beneficial for you. And doing that with presence, doing that with purpose, doing that consciously is going to be that much more powerful for you.

Okay. So doing is important, but being a spiritual person is.

And I think what I've seen get in the way here time and time again with my students and again with myself, I'm not above this, even though I'm maybe a little further down the path doesn't mean I don't also revisit these same concepts, but what I've seen get in the way here, time and time again, is that fear it's like, Oh my God, what will my life be like if I surrender?

If I surrender to my soul's calling, what if I truly allow the universe to move through me and move through my life? What if I let go of control? We have a fear of failure and we have a fear of success. Okay. And I don't believe really, especially in a spiritual sense that there's any type of failure, but it's still like the fear of.

What if it doesn't go the way I want, right? What if it looks completely different? What if I end up somewhere that I don't feel qualified for? What if I end up somewhere that I'm not prepared for, right? So that's that fear of failure. Again, not loving that word, but you can get what I'm saying.

There's also the fear of success. What if it turns out better than I could have imagined? What if I'm, again, completely unprepared for this? What if I end up somewhere I never expected what could actually be possible for me? And then here's another fear. What would need to crumble or break down for that to happen?

What do, what has to die, right? We're having the rebirth discussion here. So what has to die? Something has to die for a rebirth to take place for you to be reborn. Something has to die. What if the thing that dies is something that you really loved? Or that you were really attached to. And these are the spiritual lessons.

This is where wisdom comes in. And the truth is this breaking down is going to happen whether we want it or not, whether we're present to it or not, whether we're conscious of it or not, because the feminine is always moving in our lives. It is always cycling. We are always going to have these rebirth cycles and the feminine is rhythmically rebirthing us.

She's walking us through the shadow. She's walking us through death. She's walking us through the new life. And she's walking us through the full embodiment of the new life. The liberation. And then she's walking us through the shadow again. And we can be present or not. We can be co creators or not. We can be participants or not. I think what happens when we live life, afraid of the next rebirthing cycle, when we are afraid of this new journey, we grip too tightly to control. Like I was talking about, what if the thing that has to die is something that I don't want to let go of and okay maybe I'll let go of it, but only if this happens and then it becomes transactional.

When we're moving through rebirth from fear, we're going to block our blessings. We're going to block the things that are truly meant for us. We're going to keep the things from coming in. We're basically building a dam to the feminine flow. We're not allowing it to flow through and move through and bring all that is meant for us.

And like I said, it's going to happen whether we're conscious of it or not. And so if you're afraid of rebirth, you're going to wake up wondering what happened and how I got here? This is different. This relationship changed or this whatever, died and came back differently, was reborn differently.

But I have no idea how it happened and I have no idea how it happened, how I got here, how I got to this new identity. And so the fear just cuts us off from our presence. The fear cuts us off from our intention and from our consciousness, we basically rise up to this place where we are an observer of our life and not an active participant.

If you allow fear to be the dictator, then you can just watch what happens. It's like watching a train wreck or watching a car crash. There's no way to intervene. You've stepped out and you just are watching it happen. And that's. What fear does to us, it paralyzes us and it keeps us like one level removed.

Now that doesn't mean the train wreck or the car crash isn't still gonna happen. It is in some way, shape or form some capacity, but there's a difference between watching it happen and like being that observer who just is suffering through the witnessing and being somebody who's actively participating in it, who's understanding who's embodying.

The happenings, I'm like searching for words right here, but does it suck sometimes to be present to it? Yeah. Does it hurt sometimes? Yeah. But all of that pain and all of that suckiness has A meaning for you, it has a medicine for you and you can either be a third party witness to it or you can be an active participant in it and allow it to shape you, allow it to flow over you, allow it to function for you and to serve you in its highest and best.

I think when we can consciously and bravely step into our next evolution, we step up as a sovereign co creator, right? We're claiming space in our own damn life. We're claiming space in our own rebirth. Instead of, again, being that third party witness, we are going through it. We are experiencing it, the beauty and the pain that all medicine has for us.

We're able to surrender to what's best for us. We're able to surrender to our highest and best. The things, the experiences, the happenings that are going to propel us forward on the path that our soul is meant to go.

It allows everything that is meant for you instead of blocking it or damning it up. It allows it to flow for you and through you when we're consciously present to our next rebirth, when we are bravely doing this, when we're facing our fear and we're being brave in our rebirth, we honor the feminine in our lives.

We are present to the cycles in our lives. We go through the loads to experience the highs to go through the loads again, and it takes courage and it takes bravery and when you are brave. You are able to feel all of the pleasures, you are able to feel all of the sensations to that. It all serves you. And I think the biggest thing that happens here is we're able to release and rise.

Release and rise. We will never rise if we're still, holding on to the thing that's dragging us down. So can we cut the rope? Can we be brave? Can we... Do it. Can we bravely face it and say yes, I am consciously signing up for this rebirth. I know it's gonna be A little painful, I know it's not going to be all love and light, I know there's going to be depth and death, and I'm okay with that because on the other side I trust that this is the highest and next best evolution for me and I am going to sovereignly claim it.

I'm going to step up and I'm going to claim it. All right. So I thought what would be fun here is to go through a little practice. If you're driving, you're going to definitely want to push pause here and come back to this. If you're on the treadmill or doing something that you can do some practice, you might still want to keep your eyes open or something like that.

But if you're able to, Okay. Go ahead and sit down and give yourself 10 minutes or so. We're going to do a little bit of practice to call in our bravery, a little bit of practice to step onto that next path. So go ahead and make yourself cozy, comfy. Remembering that feminine meditation or feminine practice is different from masculine.

So if you feel called to move around, if you feel called to dance or sway or do hip circles or things like that's absolutely welcome. If you feel called to moan or make a sound or cry, all of that's moving energy and all of that is Definitely welcome on the feminine path.

And so go ahead and drop into your body in the way that makes sense for you. The way that feels right for you. So for our purposes here, I'm going to do that through breath. If you'd like to go ahead and deepen your breath,

bringing your breath further into your body. Maybe right now. It's stopping at your chest your next inhale. Bring it slightly lower down into the bottom of your ribcage

Exhaling in a rhythm that feels right for your body and on your next inhale Bringing your breath even further down to your solar plexus chakra the next inhale down to your belly button. Finally breathing all the way into your womb space and for the remainder of this practice, if you can keep those breaths deep down into the depths of your body, on your breaths, I'd love for you to imagine yourself inside of a sphere, calling into your mind's eye, sensing with your body the confines of a sphere, and the sphere at the moment. This is a dark black sphere, you feel what you sense when you're in a dark black space, perhaps for you, it's like a comforting womb, or maybe it's calling in some fears or some anxieties sitting with whatever comes up in this dark sphere. Bright and gold appears in the center of your being, a small pinprick of light, just enough to pierce the darkness. And with this pinprick of light, you can start to make out shapes in the darkness, the shapes representing those fears. Perhaps it's the fear of what you have to let go of. Or maybe it's the fear of the people's feelings who might be hurt if you choose to rebirth. Maybe it's the loss of a relationship, the loss of a job, the loss of a connection. These shadowy fears. Inside your dark sphere, now this light is at the center of your being. Bring your awareness here. Bring your consciousness here on your next inhale. Begin to call in your strength. Breathe it in deeply, calling in your power from all angles, from all directions within this sphere. Calling it back from that ex partner, calling it back from your parents or your siblings, from your friends, calling your power back. From your boss, calling your power back from the decisions that no longer serve you. Calling your power back. Calling your strength back. And as your power and strength begin to flood you, they alchemize. Inwardly alchemizing, changing and transmuting into a feeling of bravery. And as your bravery grows, so does the light in the center of your being. No longer a pinprick, this light grows and expands. Again, you shine it on those shadowy fears, and this time, the light is strong, and the fears disintegrate, continuing to shine your brave light around your sphere. The shadows fade, the fears fade, and the sphere is no longer dark, but a bright, golden one. A white space, a space conducive to a new you, a reborn you. You have everything inside of you that you need to face your fears and surrender to your next rebirth. And when you're ready, go ahead and return to a normal breath. Maybe wiggle your fingers and toes, blink your eyes.

Come on back to the present moment. Knowing that you can take this practice with you anywhere. You can sit down here with me again for another ten minutes and replay this anytime fear seems to be getting in your way. This is also a practice that you can take on the go and drop at any moment. Call in your golden light, call back your power.

Retrieve it from anything or anyone who is siphoning it from you right now and shine that light. All right. If you liked this practice and you know that you want more guidance on your next conscious and brave rebirth, I would love for you to join us for my three day event initiation. It's completely free.

And we are going to be meeting to consciously do this, to reclaim our spirituality, not as something that we simply do, but who we are. We're going to stop being afraid of the shadowy seasons and the death seasons, and we're going to step into rebirth, reclaiming consciously our next level.

We'll be doing practices like the one we did today on all three days, deeper and longer of course, but it'll be a great way. For you to start to release things here at the end of this year and step into your initiation to become the person that you're ready to be in your next rebirth. All right, I hope that you'll join us for initiation.

You can sign up for free at RootedFeminine.com/initiation, and I cannot wait to journey with you on those three days and until next time next week, I will see you back here in temple space.
